On Friday, the 11-year-old’s mother Tiffany Nicole Meek appeared in the Roodepoort magistrate court for her bail application.

Women empowerment activist Natalie Solomons insists that the Fleurhof community should not be made scapegoats in uncovering the truth about the death of Jayden-Lee Meek.

On Friday, the 11-year-old’s mother Tiffany Nicole Meek appeared in the Roodepoort magistrate court for her bail application.

The week-long procedures had revealed some shocking evidence which linked meek to her child’s death

During the week-long bail application some Fleurhof community members staged demonstrations outside of the court.

They have been calling for the mother of slain 11-year-old to be denied bail.

Some pointed out that the state in which the child was found, just a few meters away from his mother’s apartment in Fleurhof two months ago, can never be forgotten.

Community activist Natalie Solomons said everything they have ever done as the community was for Jayden and nobody else

“We were never supporting Tiffany, we were supporting the cause of justice for Jayden. Justice for Jayden Lee Meek.  At that time we didn’t even know whether the mother was a suspect or not,” said Solomons.

Final arguments in Meek’s bail hearing, will be heard in the Roodepoort magistrate court on Monday
