Police are still on the hunt for a suspect wanted in connection with the brutal attack on the Jeep Track in Camps Bay that left a hiker half blind in one eye.
A woman hiking up the Jeep Track was attacked by an unknown man two weeks ago.
The woman’s husband, Ken Noble, previously confirmed to Cape Talk that his wife underwent extensive surgery to repair her scalp following the attack.
Police spokesperson Anelisiwe Manyana said, “The suspect fled the scene when he noticed two other females approaching to the rescue of the victim, who suffered serious injuries to the head and eye. The motive for the attack is still unknown and nothing was taken from the victim.”
