The South African Weather Service (SAWS) has warned that parts of Gauteng can expect a 30% chance of rain today, now that the recent cold front has moved through the region.
Earlier forecasts had predicted that the cold front would shift from the Western Cape into KwaZulu-Natal, Mpumalanga, and Gauteng bringing lower temperatures, rainfall, and strong winds.
However, updated forecasts show that Gauteng will experience partly cloudy conditions throughout the day.
Forecaster Tokelo Chiloane says the Western Cape is expected to remain fine and cool, with no rain predicted.
